Pratik Gandhi, who stars alongside Vidya Balan in Do Aur Do Pyaar, recently shared his experience of filming his first-ever on-screen kissing scene. In a conversation with Lehren, he revealed how Vidya, as a more experienced actor, helped him feel at ease during the moment.
Pratik Gandhi on His First Kissing Scene
When asked about any hesitations regarding the scene, Pratik admitted that he initially suggested alternative ways to convey the emotions. However, Vidya was certain about how the scene should be executed. “She had a clear idea of what she wanted and how to make it work. Since she was the senior actor, it was her approach that set the tone,” he explained.
He further added that Vidya’s lighthearted and friendly nature helped make the scene comfortable. “She kept things so easygoing that we ended up filming the scene while laughing,” he recalled.

Pratik will next be seen in Dhoom Dhaam, a Netflix film where he stars alongside Yami Gautam. The movie, directed by Rishab Seth, follows a newlywed couple who find themselves entangled in high-speed chases and intense action on what was supposed to be a romantic night. Co-produced by Aditya Dhar, Lokesh Dhar, and Jyoti Deshpande, Dhoom Dhaam is set to premiere on February 14, 2025.
