Satinder Sartaaj recently addressed the controversy surrounding the song “Rang” from the film “Sky Force,” starring Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya. The track gained attention when a dance rehearsal clip surfaced, leading to speculation that Arijit Singh had originally recorded the song, with Sartaaj replacing him. In an interview with Aajtak, Sartaaj clarified that he was approached by music director Tanishk Bagchi, who expressed a desire to have him sing for the film. Sartaaj recorded the song independently at his home studio and was unaware of its release until he received a notification from Saregama. He emphasized that he was not informed about any prior recordings by Arijit Singh.
This clarification dispels the rumors of replacement and highlights the collaborative nature of the music industry, where artists contribute to projects without always being aware of the complete production process.
