Patralekhaa humorously recounted how she still haggles with her vegetable vendor, saying, “I still call up my bhaajiwala and say, ‘Bhaiya 10 rupay kam kardo’.” She also mentioned that her mother continues to visit and offer typical parental advice, reminding them to be grateful and thankful. These anecdotes highlight the couple’s commitment to simplicity and their roots.
She further revealed that she often takes charge of planning their vacations and dinner reservations, as Rajkummar’s busy schedule doesn’t allow him much time for such details. Recalling a spontaneous European trip, she shared that they traveled without booking accommodations in advance, leading to a frantic search for lodging during peak winter vacation time.

Their relationship, which began over a decade ago, culminated in marriage in November 2021. Throughout their journey, both Patralekhaa and Rajkummar Rao have maintained a lifestyle that reflects their humble beginnings, valuing authenticity and simplicity over the trappings of celebrity.
