At the News18 Rising Bharat Summit 2025 in Delhi on April 8, actress Kajol addressed rumors regarding her daughter Nysa Devgan’s potential entry into Bollywood. She stated, “Bilkul nahi (Not at all). I think she is 22 now, or about to be, and she has decided that she’s not entering Bollywood at the moment.”
Kajol also offered advice to aspiring actors, emphasizing the importance of individuality. She cautioned against taking advice from everyone, noting that many might suggest altering one’s physical appearance, which can be discouraging. She highlighted that those who stand out are remembered, while those who blend in are not.
In previous interviews, Kajol and her husband, actor Ajay Devgn, have mentioned that Nysa is currently focused on her studies. She is pursuing International Hospitality at Switzerland’s Glion Institute of Higher Education and has shown no interest in joining the film industry.
Kajol is preparing for the release of her upcoming mythological horror film, Maa, directed by Vishal Furia. The film features Kajol as a fierce mother protecting her daughter, played by Kherin Sharma, and is scheduled for release on June 27.
