Veteran actor Paresh Rawal’s legal team has addressed the controversy surrounding his departure from Hera Pheri 3, countering claims made by Akshay Kumar’s production house regarding financial losses incurred due to Rawal’s exit.
In a formal statement, Rawal’s legal representatives from Anand & Naik clarified that the actor had not received a finalized script, nor had he signed any formal agreement for the film. They emphasized that there was a general lack of clarity regarding the project at the time of his decision to step away, asserting that his involvement had not been officially solidified.
The dispute escalated when Akshay Kumar’s production company, Cape of Good Films, filed a ₹25 crore lawsuit against Rawal, accusing him of unprofessional conduct that could delay production and cause financial setbacks.
