Jaideep Ahlawat on Being Cast in Romantic Films
In a conversation with ANI, Jaideep shared his thoughts on doing mainstream romance films like *Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge* and *Kuch Kuch Hota Hai*. He said, *“I have no doubts that I can do it, but the question is—will anyone cast me? Maybe I’m wrong, but I feel that filmmakers don’t see me in such roles. I am open to it, but the industry needs to believe in me first.”*
Interest in Global Cinema
Apart from Bollywood, Jaideep is also keen on exploring opportunities in Hollywood to connect with a global audience. *“I am open to working anywhere, as long as the work is meaningful and reaches people,”* he added.
Upcoming Projects
Jaideep Ahlawat is currently enjoying the success of *Paatal Lok* Season 2. He also has multiple upcoming projects, including *The Family Man* Season 3. Additionally, he has worked on *Hisaab* with Shefali Shah and a project helmed by *An Action Hero* writer Neeraj Yadav, among others.
