Prime Video has announced three new additions to the cast of “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” for its upcoming third season. These new actors are:
Andrew Richardson: He will join as a series regular. Richardson is known for his extensive stage roles in productions like “Guys & Dolls” and “Uncle Vanya,” and has appeared in films such as “Daughter of the Bride.”
Zubin Varla: He will appear in a recurring role. Varla is an award-winning British actor and singer with a significant career in theatre, and has also done voice work for “The Rings of Power” previously. His screen credits include “Andor” and “Deep State.”
Adam Young: He will also appear in a recurring role. Young is best known for his part in the horror film “Don’t Breathe 2” and has appeared in TV series like “Masters of the Air” and “EastEnders.”
The specific roles these actors will play are currently being kept under wraps.
Production for the third season of “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” recently began at its new production home, Shepperton Studios in the UK. These new cast members will join the returning ensemble, which includes Charlie Vickers, Morfydd Clark, Robert Aramayo, Ismael Cruz Córdova, Charles Edwards, and Markella Kavenagh, among many others.
