Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has responded to recent death threats with a powerful display of resilience. On April 14, 2025, he shared a photo from his in-house gym, showcasing his well-toned biceps while performing leg curls. The post was captioned, “Thank u for the motivation,” a subtle yet pointed message amid the threats he received.
The threats were sent via WhatsApp to Mumbai’s Worli Traffic Control Room, warning of plans to harm the actor at his residence and target his vehicle with explosives. Mumbai Police have registered an FIR and traced the message to a 26-year-old man from a village near Vadodara, Gujarat. The individual, reportedly mentally unstable and under treatment, has been summoned for investigation.
In response to these threats, security measures around Khan’s Galaxy Apartments residence have been intensified, including the installation of a bulletproof glass wall to replace his open balcony.
Despite the challenges, Khan’s post has garnered support from fans and fellow actors. Ranveer Singh commented “HARD HARD,” while Varun Dhawan added multiple fire emojis. This show of solidarity underscores the industry’s backing of Khan during this period.
Khan’s recent film, Sikandar, directed by AR Murugadoss, has faced criticism for its performance, crossing ₹100 crore but falling short of expectations. Nevertheless, Khan continues to focus on his fitness and well-being, demonstrating resilience in the face of adversity.
